Things about things about you
Jan. 7th, 2012 11:56 amOk, so day 7 of the Snowflake Challenge is a hard one for me.
In your own space, create a list of at least three fannish things you'd love to receive, something you've wanted but were afraid to ask for - a fannish wish-list of sorts. Drop a link to your wish-list in this post. Maybe someone will grant a wish. Maybe you will grant a wish.
Ever wanted a header for your journal centered around your fandom or favourite pairing? What about art for one of your stories? How about a fanmix that reminds you of the way Character A and Character B in your favourite movie keep making *heart eyes* at each other? Would you love icons? Podfics? Fanvids? Wallpapers? Paper dolls? Cupcakes?
I suck as asking for things I want. Like, kind of a lot. *laughs* And we won't talk about how long it took me to come up with these, but here goes...
These are mostly Bandom related because I tend tobug bribe enable beg ask my friends for things I want in fandoms we share *laughs*
1 - I'd love some artwork (or links to existing) done in a chibi or Powerpuff Girl style of My Chemical Romance. A fantastic example of what I'm talking about is here: http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lx1cnrqavL1qg5fcmo1_500.jpg.
2 - I love angsty fic, like really. And I'd love some My Chem or Fall Out Boy fic. It doesn't have to be written for me (altho I wouldn't turn that down) but recs would be fantastic. My preferred pairings are Gerard/Frank, Mikey/Frank, Mikey/Pete, Pete/Patrick, but honestly I will read anything if it is well written and guaranteed to make me cry.
3 - I want anyone who reads this who aren't taking part in the Snowflake Challenge to put up a similar list on their journals. I love giving people things, it makes me happy. And I really like the idea of being able to hit up someones LJ/DW/Tumblr/whatever randomly and maybe give them something that makes them smile. (If you do put up your own list, could you comment here or link me or something just so I know that it's out there?)
