Days 3 and 4 of the Snowflake Challenge were posting and friending people so nothing to show for those on here.
Day 5 is about sharing our non-fannish passions with our friends list.
One of the things that isn't obvious about me is that I hate to just sit and watch tv with nothing else to do. I am fine going to the movies, but when I am at home catching up on the Tivo or something, I usually have to have something to do with my hands. So my fallbacks are either crochet or cross stitch. And since I have given away all my crochet projects and have no pictures to share, you get cross stitch instead. *grin*
These are my two biggest works in progress I have going right now. And when I say biggest I mean in terms of size as well as complexity. The one on the black is Mirabilia's The Dreamer stitched on 25 ct black lugana, and should be approximately 13" x 30" when it's done. I'm planning on hanging it in my bedroom to balance out my copy of Klimt's The Kiss.
The one on the wheat colored fabric is Told In a Garden's Earthdancer while I'm stitching on 18 ct lambswool linen. It'll be about 22" x 27" when it's done. I had started it originally as a present for my aunt and uncle, but they have changed the decor of their house so I'm not sure what I will do with it when it's done *laugh* I put the DVD there to give you an idea of scale on both pieces.
