Damn digital conversion
Mar. 5th, 2009 03:19 pmSo I was all excited because I thought tonight was when Supernatural came back but nooooooo, its not until next week! And there is no more Leverage until June (which has nothing to do with the digital conversion, but makes me sad anyways.) All because of the stupid digital conversion. That. Didn't. Happen. Ugh. Everyone pushed their shows back until March so they wouldn't have an issue with the conversion, but it didn't happen. So instead there is barely any tv on right now. And yes, I am upset. I have few outlets to get away from taxes right now, and mindless television is one of them. Even my family is asking me to do their returns this year.
Anyways. In other news. The rodeo last week was awesome, as was the Renaissance festival. Love me some Tortuga Twins (and really, anytime someone works in a joke about choking the chicken without actually saying "choking the chicken"? huge win in my book,) and Tartanic. Men in kilts. Playing bagpipes and drums. Where is the bad, I ask you? NO WHERE. Was talking to one of the Plano people at work who was out here and she went as well, their fair (Scarborough - TX) starts right after ours ends and I am so jealous that the timing works out better for her so that she can actually participate. With ours happening during 2 months of season I just can't make the commitment and again with things that make me sad. Oh! And there was a carrillion there. Coolest bells ever. Altho the performer was creepy while actually performing, looked like a cross between Stevie Wonder and one of the Muppets.. but still, neat.
Ok, 29 min to go before I can clock out I suppose I should get back tolistening to people whine helping customers.
